Professor Haiyan Song is Associate Dean (Research) and Chair Professor of the School of Hotel and Tourism Management at The Hong Kong Polytechnic University. Professor Song has a strong background in Economics. His research focuses on tourism and hotel demand analysis, service recovery, tourist satisfaction, and wine economics. Over the years, Professor Song has played significant roles in a number of international consultancy and collaborative projects. He has written extensively on tourism forecasting methodologies and many of his work has appeared in such academic journals as Journal of Development Economics, Annals of Tourism Research, Tourism Management, Journal of Travel Research, and International Journal of Hospitality Management.

Among his professional affiliations, Professor Song is President of both the International Association for Tourism Economics (IATE) and International Association for China Tourism Studies (IACTS) and is a Fellow of the International Academy for the Study of Tourism (IAST). He is Editor-in-Chief of Journal of China Tourism Research, Resource Editor of Annals of Tourism Research, and Deputy Executive Editor of Tourism Tribune. Professor Song taught at Dongbei University of Finance and Economics in China, Glasgow Caledonian University, University of Abertay Dundee, and University of Surrey in the UK before joining the School of Hotel and Tourism Management at The Hong Kong Polytechnic University as Chair Professor of Tourism in August 2004. The honors he received include the John Wiley & Sons Lifetime Research Achievement Award by the International Council on Hotel, Restaurant and Institutional Education in 2010 and Michael D. Olsen Research Achievement Award by University of Delaware in 2014.

Dr. Mohinder Chand joined the Department of Tourism and Hotel Management, Kurukshetra University in November 1993 and presently working as Professor in the same department. As a part of his research program, Dr. Mohinder has published more than 80 research papers in Tourism and Hospitality journals and other Journals such as Journal of World Business,Employee Relation- an international Journal,South Asian Journal of Socio-political Studies,International Journal of Hospitality & Tourism Administration, International Journal of Service Technology and Management, International Journal of Leisure and Tourism Marketing, International Journal of Human Resource Management and International Journal of Hospitality and Tourism Systems and conference proceedings and books. Dr. Mohinder has authored two books- Travel Agency Management-an introductory text, and Managing Hospitality Operations, Co-authored one book- Basics of Tourism-Theory, Operation and Practice and has co-edited three books-Tourism Impacts- strategies and issues (ed.) (2007), Global Tourism: Issues and challenges (Eds), (2006) andTourism Education: An emerging essential (eds), (2006) International Tourism and Hospitality in the Digital Age (2015).

Presently, he is the chief editor of International Journal of Hospitality, Management and Tourism Research and editor of International Journal of Hospitality and Tourism Systems. Dr. Mohinder is also serving as Editorial Board member and reviewer of various International & National Journals. He received his Ph.D. degree from Himachal Pradesh University, Shimla. He is also General Secretary of Indian Hospitality Congress (IHC).

Dr. Nimit Chowdhary is Professor and HOD, Tourism at Jamia Millia Islamia, Department of Tourism, Hotel, Hospitality and Heritage Studies, Jamia Millia Islamia, New Delhi. Dr Nimit Chowdhary was earlier Professor with IITTM and Nodal Officer (In-charge of the NCR Centre of IITTM) and Chairman for the PhD Programme Teaching and research interests include Entrepreneurship and Small Business Management, Marketing of Services, Destination marketing and management, etc. Earlier he worked for Mizoram University and was responsible for raising the School of Management and launching MBA programme. Before that he was the Deputy Director at Center for Entrepreneurship and Small Business Management at MDS University, Ajmer. Having been invited, he served as Professor of Business at Shaoxing University and as a Professor of Business and Administration at Department of Business, at Instituto Tecnológico y de Estudios Superiores de Monterrey (ITESM) at State of Mexico Campus in Mexico.

Dr. Nimit Chowdhary is involved in research on tourism entrepreneurship, destination marketing and management, tour guiding and rural tourism. Earlier, I have been associated with projects supported by UGC, ICSSR, AICTE, MoT and others in and outside of India.
